El 16, 17 y 18 de Julio 2010 ha tenido lugar en la Pista del Caliz en Leiria (Portugal), un Open Internacional de F3A, con participantes españoles, portugueses y franceses. Este Open ha sido organizado por Clube de Radiomodelismo de Oeiras (CRO) con la colaboración del Clube de Aeromodelismo do Liz (Caliz).
La primera jornada se desarrollo desde las 08:00 horas del viernes, cuando comenzaron los entrenamientos oficiales que duraron hasta las 12:00 horas. Se realizaron varios vuelos de entrenamiento, los cuales discurrieron con un poco de viento cruzado. A las 12:00 horas estaba ya servida la comida de catering en el campo de vuelo, todo el mundo se situó en las mesas que había colocado la organización debajo de una carpa de camuflaje para cobijarse del sol y comer.
Finalizada la comida a las 13:30 horas comenzó la competición, con un viento bastante fuerte, con la primera manga de la categoría F3A (A), categoría FAI, después se realizó una manga de la categoría F3A (N), que corresponde a la categoría española de F3A-b, repitiendo otras dos mangas en el mismo orden, posteriormente y para finalizar la jornada hubo una manga de la categoría F3A (I), que corresponde a la F3A-c de iniciación en España.
Después de las dos mangas de la categoría F3A (A) la pelea se disputaba entre dos pilotos Rodolphe Leveille y Bruno Heleno aunque declinaba levemente sobre el francés, en la Categoría F3A (N) era claramente para David Villaverde con los dos miles seguido de cerca por Marcos Sánchez. La cena se realizó en un restaurante cercano al campo de vuelo donde la comida típica tuvo buena acogida por todos los participantes.
