VFC 2009 will admit the following simulators, in any of their versions
• Great Planes RealFlight
• IPACS Aerofly
• Phoenix RC
• Kyosho Reflex .
Freestyle Flights
Contestants will fly a 4 minutes freestyle routine, similar to the ones that are flown in IMAC freestyle championships (official flight time can vary between 3 minutes 50 seconds and 4 minutes 10 seconds. Take off and landing can be outside this time gap).
Pilot will have to record (capture) the flight to a video file (wmv). Usually, users use Fraps to do it. Acro3D Team will make a manual to help contestants to record their flight without problems. Obviously, a medium/high performance PC is recommended to record the flight properly.
